In the beginning of this shoot, one of the models proclaimed, "They used to put me down so much because I was this dark, and now, I love myself."

Through juxtaposition, the series artfully intertwines the model's natural beauty, showcased by their radiant complexion, with the ever-evolving landscape. The visual metaphor illustrates the eternal essence of blackness, a timeless and unwavering pride that echoes the spirit of Haiti, the first Black republic.
